Women's Studies Career
Opportunities
Career opportunities for people with an understanding of women's
issues continue to increase. Today's entry of women into all
professional areas assures that graduates with an understanding
of the dynamics of male/female interaction and perspectives will
continue to be in high demand.
Both private and public agencies charged with assisting the needs
of women are continuing to expand. Centers offering assistance to
survivors of abuse and assault, or those in need of family
assistance, or women who are returning to work, continue to seek
knowlegable and qualified individuals. In addition to the more
traditional professions, opportunities also exist in the areas of
policy-making and lobbying efforts on behalf of women.
