ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Applications
are invited for a tenure-track psychology Asst. Professor to begin in August
2008. Psychology is an undergraduate
program at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, WisconsinÕs public liberal
arts college. Teaching interests
with a strong commitment to undergraduate education are essential. All
applicants are expected to teach introductory psychology. Due to anticipated vacancies in the
coming years, we are accepting applications from all areas, with particular
interest in biopsychology, clinical psychology, behavioral analysis, sensation
and perception, and developmental psychology. Research interests appropriate to a small public liberal
arts college are highly desired, as is an interest in involving undergraduate
students in collaborative research.
Review of applications begins January 31, 2008, open until filled. Psychology is part of the Department of
Human Behavior and Diversity, with 12 faculty members in Psychology, Social
Work, and First Nations Studies.
Candidates that incorporate issues of diversity within the curriculum
are especially encouraged to apply.
Duties: Teach
12 credits per semester, pursue scholarly activities, advise students, and
serve on Department and University committees.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in psychology by
January 16, 2009 is required; preference to those who will complete their
degree by August 29, 2008.
