| PRESENT: Hal Bertilson, Joel Sipress, Peter Nordgren (ex officio), Nick Sloboda, Tim Cummings, Gloria Toivola, and Terri Kronzer (ex officio). |
| COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS: Committee assignments were reviewed. Convener assignments were made. Recommendations were prepared for membership on search committees. It was recommended that a faculty member chair the Library Director search. |
| GRADE APPEAL PROCESS: N. Sloboda provided the Executive Committee a packet of grade appeal policies at other universities and reported to the Executive Committee on his review. Grade Appeal Process was tabled until the October Executive Committee meeting so that members have time to review the documents. Members of the Executive Committee were encouraged to prepare draft policies for discussion at the October meeting. |
| NO THURSDAY CLASSES DURING NOON HOUR: Motion (H. Bertilson/P. Nordgren) to recommend implementation of No Scheduling of Classes from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM on Thursdays via People Soft. A proposal, prepared by T. Cummings, will appear on the September Senate agenda. |
