| PRESENT: Greg Trudeau, Timothy Cummings, and Hal Bertilson. | |

| MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: | |
| 1. | It was agreed to revise the NCA charge to the Graduate Council. It now reads that the Graduate Council will write for the NCA report the role of the Graduate Council in regards to the Faculty Senate and it will write for the NCA report regarding academic and curriculum matters. |
| 2. | Members of the Executive Committee discussed our responsibilities in preparing reports for the NCA self study. |
| 3. | Senate Chair Trudeau forwarded to the Planning, Budgeting, and Review Council Vice Chancellor Hanson's November 13, 2001 memo requesting recommended budget priorities. Vice Chancellor Hanson must respond to UWSA by April 1. Sharon Sullivan was asked to forward to the Planning, Budgeting, and Review Council the budget priorities of the University Student Senate. |
| FEBRUARY 19 SENATE MEETING: | |
| 1. | Approval authority for academic matters developed by the Academic Affairs Council will be provided to Sharon for the Senate packet on February 13. |
| 2. | The January 22 Request for Payplan recommendations was forwarded on 2-5-02 to the Personnel Council. It has a due date on February 22. H. Bertilson will place it on the agenda for the February 19 Senate meeting. |
