CALL TO ORDER:

Chair called meeting to order at 3:00 P. M.

3. NEW BUSINESS

The Provost asked the Council to remove a faculty member from a Student Committee. The Chair, Gloria Toivola recused herself from the proceedings and Paul Keeney took the chair. An unfruitful discussion followed in which basically the committee declined to take any action. The Chancellor suggested perhaps more time was needed for reflection. A motion was made to adjourn and in meantime meet again to further consider the request (Redding s/ Buhl) motion carried.
