1.	What was your reaction to the video: The Yellow Race in America? What did you find to be especially important?
2.	The English-only movement seeks to make English the official language of the United States, which would eliminate bilingual education for Spanish speakers. It has been argued that Spanish is part of the cultural heritage of Latino/a Americans. Based on acculturation theories, what psychological effects could the English-only movement have on Latino/a Americans?
3.	Given the tremendous pressure to acculturate to the dominant culture in the United States, is a bicultural identity a viable option? Which Latino/a Americans are most likely to acculturate? Which are most likely to develop a bicultural identity? Which are most likely to maintain their Latino/a American identity without acculturating?
