| NEW!!! In Wisconsin, you can register and vote Nov. 2 – all you need to do is show your UW-S ID card and answer two questions on a form provided by an elections official: | |
| Are you a citizen of the United States of America? | |
| Will you be 18 years of age on or before election day? | |
| A certified list of students has been provided to each Superior precinct by UW-S. A separate list of dorm residents has been given for the two precincts in which the dorms vote. You just need to ask the elections official to find your name in these certified lists. (Of course, if you have a proof of residence, such as a cell-phone bill, take it with you, it will speed things up). Note that if you choose to vote in Superior, you cannot vote anywhere else. | |
| Dorm residents: Ross residents vote at Wessman Arena. All other dorm residents vote at WITC - the large white building on the east side of Catlin Avenue, 100 yards south of the campus Health and Wellness Center. For those who live off campus, please find the location of your precinct from the maps posted around the campus or on line at http://www.ci.superior.wi.us/clerk/#elections (Look under "polling place" and click on the district number to see a district map.) Polls are open from 7 AM until 8 PM. Anyone in line to vote at 8 PM is entitled to vote. | |
| Print out this message and take it with you. And please spread the word about this great news – you can register and vote Nov. 2 with just your college ID card! | |
