Dr. B. will review the psychology of terrorism including both the factors that motivate individuals to join terrorist groups and psychological factors that exacerbate and lesson the threat of terrorism. Included will be brief summaries of the history of terrorism and societal conditions that make terrorism more likely.

Attend the seminar, write a two-page (or longer) reaction paper, and 5 points will be added to your test score total. In your paper consider whether there are psychology principles of terrorism that relates to the course you are taking this semester from Dr. B. Please explain.
