Marshals at Strike for Peace Meet at Table for Northland Anti-War Coalition Duluth Civic Center 11:20 AM

This is an opportunity to do some of your 20 hours of social justice activism and volunteer work option for your term project.

You will be given orange vests and asked to help with managing the march: ask people to obey the traffic lights, be sure that marchers leave enough room for others on the sidewalk who are not involved in the march. The march will be from the Clayton, Jackson, McGhee memorial (2nd Ave East) to the Duluth Civic Center. Meet at the Clayton, Jackson, McGhee Memorial at 11:20 AM. The march will begin at 11:30 AM.

Please let Dr. B. know if you are planning to do this so he has a count on how many marshals will be available.

You may complete your Term Project in this class by doing some hours on Social Justice Activism, some hours on Volunteer work, even including a shorter term paper if you wish. If you choose to do some hours on Social Justice Activism and some hours on Volunteer work you need only write one paper combining descriptions and reactions to both experiences.
