1.	What was your reaction to Together for Youth? What did you learn? What did you find particularly important? What principles we have studied this semester that might apply? Explain.
2.	What parallels do you see between Asian cultural expectations of female sexual expression and the practice of honor killings? Is this misogyny in both cases? Explain. (223-224 and video)
3.	Social control of the expression of sexuality among Asian American girls comes from three primary sources: (a) from the family, including parents, grandparents, and older siblings, (b) from the adolescent peer group, and (c) from the social environment, including school and community. Describe similar social control of your behavior or of the behavior of someone you know or an example from the media. You may describe a non-sexual social behavior analogue or a sexual behavior, whatever you are comfortable with. In your example, do you believe there were as many or as strong competing pressures as Asian American girls experience? Or that the pressures to internalize shame, guilt, etc. is as strong? Explain.
