PART 3--Response paper
  1. Maslow (1970) suggested that people are more satisfied with their attempts to meet needs lower in the hierarchy than those that were higher. Do your ratings suggest this was true for you?
Yes_____ No_____. Provide a brief reason for your response.

  2. Maslow (1970) also noted that people tend not to pursue higher-order needs (i.e., social, self-esteem, self-actualization) unless they were able to satisfy their physiological and safety needs. Is this true of how such motives operate in your life?
Yes_____ No_____. Give an example to support your response.
