Richard Hudelson is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin Superior. The University of Wisconsin Superior is a public liberal arts university with a focus on undergraduate education. The philosophy program at UW-Superior offers courses in the General Education Program and in support of several undergraduate majors. There is also a minor in philosophy. Richard Hudelson did his undergraduate work at DePauw University and his graduate work at the University of Michigan where he completed a Ph.D. on Marx's Conception of Social Science in 1977. He is the author of five books and various articles and reviews in the areas of political philosophy and philosophy of social science. He has participated in regional, national and international conferences in philosophy. In addition, having lived in the Superior area for thirty years, he has developed interests in local history and cross-country skiing.
