Dropbox
is a convenient way to send assignments to your instructor.
After you click on the link on the , you should enter the area as shown in the image above.
There are three sections in the area.
Folder
Your instructor creates , so you turn in your assignments without emailing or handing a paper copy of your assignment to your instructor. In order to add a file to a (Upload a file):
- Click on the particular that you wish to use.
- Once you click on the title of the folder, the page will open. The screen shot below shows the page.
- Enter the number of files you will be adding to the in the text box.
- Then click on the
button if you want to continue, otherwise click on the
button. - If you clicked on the button, the page shown below will appear on your screen.
- Click on the button to navigate through the files on your computer (and any network drive you are attached to), select the file that you want to upload, and click the button. In the text box labeled you can type a message to your instructor, such as, "This is the paper about Jerry Rubin".
- Click on the button. Your file will be uplaoded to the and you will see a page confirming that the file was added to the successfully.
- This page will also include of the file that you uploaded.
- You will receive an email to your campus email account from the Learn@UWSuperior System Administrator notifying you that you have successfully submitted your file.
- Click on the
button to return to the page. - Click on the
button to see a list of all the files that you have submitted
through the in this class.
Submitted Files
The section shows how many files were submitted to each . In the screen shot below, the arrow points at where the number of files that you submitted would be displayed.
Feedback
The section contains any comments left by your instructor after checking the files you have submitted.
To view the feedback, click on the hyperlink in the column. In the screen shot of the main page shown below, the arrow points at the hyperlink.
- You will be able to view the submission information as well as the feedback on the page you will go to. In the screen shot below, the arrow points to the feedback that the instructor has left.

Your instructor may have attached a file along with his/her feedback.
The file will be under . To open the File, click on the
. A dialog box will appear asking you whether you want to
Open, Save,or Cancel.
- If you want to open the file without saving it, click on the button, then the file will open in your browser.
- If you want to save the file to you computer, click on the button. A dialog box will open allowing you to choose the name and location of the saved file; navigate through the dialog box and click on the button.
- If you do not want to open or save the file, click on the button.
- To go back to the main page, click on the button.
