Calendar
is an important tool for displaying upcoming events. You will be able to add important course events such as project due dates, in-class events, etc. You will also be able to view the events posted by the instructor.

To open the click the button in the main Learn@UWSuperior home page, the Course Home page, or the link on the main Learn@UWSuperior homepage .

Events will be displayed as Name, Scope, (e.g. class name, personal, UW-Superior, etc), and Description. The Name is the name of the event, such as "paper 1 due" or " meet Mr. N.P.". The Scope may be "Personal" for events you create for yourself, the class name for events the instructor creates for the class or for all of UW-Superior. The Description is a short explanation such as " Meet Mr. N.P. at Canal park at 3 p.m.". Any date with a personal event will be highlighted in blue on the .
You can navigate through Day, Week, Month, Search by clicking on the correspondent tab on the top of the calendar and see the events for that particular period.
Under the search tab you are given the ability to search through all the events. Simply type in your keyword and choose the Date From and To. Any event containing your criteria will be displayed.
To see a course event, please select the title of your course from the
course drop down list.

Some of the options in the calendar are:
Add events
When you click on the link, it will open up to the form shown above. This form will enable you to add your own information about an event.
Enter a title that you prefer in the Title field ( e.g. term paper). You can choose the date that you would like your events to be displayed. If you want to include a link with your event, make sure the Use Link box is checked and then enter the URL in the Link field. In the text box labeled "Description" you can enter the message you want to be displayed. If you want to use HTML in the description, check the HTML box just below the description.
By clicking the link you will be given more choices for displaying your event. This will give you the opportunity to choose a date and time range for the display of your event in the calendar. If you want to go back to fewer options, click on the link.
If you want to save the event click on the button, and if you don't want to save the event click on the button.
Import Events
You can import events into your Learn@UWSuperior . Click on the link. You will be given instructions on how to import either an Excel spread sheet or a text file. Note: importing an Excel spreadsheet does not work at this time.
View Printable
This option will display the events to be printed .
Today's Events
By clicking on the link you will be able to see the events assigned for that particular day.
